Best Pressure Washing Software with QuickBooks

Online vs Desktop, one-way vs two-way, objects, unpaid invoices, plan gates, and billing without QBO. Cited from vendor help and pricing pages as of 2026-09-06. No ranked winner.

Updated 2026-09-06. Author: PressureWashStack editorial team. No ranked winner.

QuickBooks sync is not a yes/no checkbox. Ask Online versus Desktop, one-way versus two-way, which objects move, what happens to unpaid invoices, which plan unlocks the row, and whether you can bill without connecting QBO. Figures are from vendor help and pricing pages checked 2026-09-06. This page does not rank a winner.

Who this is for

A wash shop whose books live in QuickBooks Online or Desktop, and who needs to know whether the CRM will push invoices, pull customers, or only export a CSV. This is not a tax or payroll guide and not a ranked bake-off.

Solo pricing floors stay on the solo operator guide. $0 language stays on the free software guide. Seat-versus-plan math for two named generalists stays on QuoteIQ vs Jobber. This page only sorts the QuickBooks question.

How we sourced this

Vendor help articles beat marketing pages when they disagree. Dated help is the source for direction, objects, and Desktop support. Pricing matrices and plan-help articles are the source for gates and dollars. A homepage or SEO page that says “two-way” is not treated as the same source as a help FAQ that says one-way.

Gaps we will not fill: CrewNest has no QuickBooks help center article we could retrieve; PowerWashOffice markets Desktop and Online with no help map; Opervo’s features page and a 2026 blog disagree on whether QuickBooks is live.

Six questions before you connect

Online versus Desktop. QuickBooks Online is a cloud company file. QuickBooks Desktop is a local company file, usually reached through Intuit’s Web Connector or a CSV/export hop. A product that syncs QBO does not automatically sync Desktop.

One-way versus two-way. One-way means the CRM is the source of truth and writes into QuickBooks. Two-way means edits in QuickBooks also land back in the CRM. Help docs that say one-way are not the same claim as a pricing blurb that says two-way.

Objects. Ask which records actually move: contacts/customers, services/price book, estimates, invoices, payments, timesheets, expenses. Do not assume estimates ride along with invoices.

Unpaid invoices. A one-way CRM-to-QBO push can create an open invoice in QuickBooks while the CRM still waits for a card. A payment recorded only in QuickBooks will not mark the CRM invoice paid if paid status does not sync back. Confirm where you collect, and where you close the invoice.

Plan gate. QuickBooks is often not on the cheapest published plan. Budget the tier that lists the row, not the entry floor.

Billing without QBO. Estimates, invoices, and cards can work without connecting QuickBooks. Connecting QBO is an accounting hop, not a requirement to get paid.

QuoteIQ

QuoteIQ help is QBO only. Desktop is not supported. Solopreneur and Self-Employed are called out as separate Intuit products, not QBO.

Unpaid invoices: QuoteIQ help rejects $0 or negative sales totals and duplicate invoice numbers. Because the sync is one-way, a payment entered only in QuickBooks will not mark the QuoteIQ invoice paid. Collect and close in QuoteIQ if you want both sides to match.

Jobber

Jobber help is QBO only. There is no Desktop sync. Clients from Desktop can be imported as a CSV. That is a one-time file, not an ongoing sync.

Unpaid invoices: because paid status no longer returns from QBO, an invoice you mark paid only in QuickBooks can stay open in Jobber. Collect in Jobber if you want the CRM invoice to close.

Housecall Pro

Housecall Pro is the only seed-and-mention product here with help articles for both QBO and Desktop.

Unpaid invoices: help lets you push an invoice before the job is finished or paid. Printing an invoice does not push it. Deleted or canceled invoices in Housecall Pro must be deleted in QBO by hand.

Workiz

Workiz publishes help for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, and a marketing integration page. Pricing stays Request pricing. Do not invent a monthly floor.

Opervo (conflicted; do not confirm live)

CrewNest (marketing only; do not elevate)

CrewNest has no QuickBooks help article we could retrieve. The claim lives on a marketing roundup.

MakeWash

No QuickBooks row to gate. Billing without QBO is the default, because no QBO hop is documented.

PowerWashOffice (undocumented)

15-minute choose checklist

Use this on a timer. It is a filter, not a ranking.

  1. Write your books: QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or “I invoice in the CRM and my CPA keys QBO later.”
  2. If Desktop is non-negotiable, read Housecall Pro Desktop help and Workiz Desktop help. Do not assume QuoteIQ or Jobber will grow a Desktop sync. Do not use CrewNest or PowerWashOffice marketing as a Desktop map.
  3. If you need QBO this month, write the published gate: QuoteIQ Pro+; Jobber Connect+; Housecall Pro Essentials/MAX; Workiz Standard+ (pricing on request).
  4. Write direction from help, not from a two-way headline. QuoteIQ help is one-way QuoteIQ→QBO. Jobber’s new integration is one-way Jobber→QBO plus a one-time import. Housecall Pro QBO is typically HCP→QBO. Workiz markets one-way Workiz→QB after import.
  5. Write the objects you must move. If estimates have to land in QBO, QuoteIQ help names them; Housecall Pro help says estimates do not push QBO.
  6. Write where unpaid invoices will be closed. If paid status does not sync back (Jobber new integration; QuoteIQ one-way), collect in the CRM.
  7. If you can bill without QBO this month, you already can on QuoteIQ Essentials, Jobber Core, Housecall Pro Basic, CrewNest, MakeWash, TCF, and Opervo invoicing. Connecting QuickBooks is a later hop.
  8. If Opervo is on your list, treat QBO as conflicted until a trial shows the features-page sync, not the blog’s “still in progress.”
  9. If Workiz is on your list, request a written quote. Do not invent a monthly dollar.
  10. Seat math for QuoteIQ versus Jobber stays on QuoteIQ vs Jobber. QuoteIQ versus Housecall Pro stays on QuoteIQ vs Housecall Pro. Housecall Pro versus Jobber stays on Housecall Pro vs Jobber. Solo floors stay on the solo operator guide. $0 language stays on the free software guide.

What we did not do

We have not run these products against a live QuickBooks company file. We are not recommending a single product. We are not publishing star ratings.

We did not redo the solo operator guide, the free software guide, or QuoteIQ vs Jobber. Those pages stay the workflow, $0 taxonomy, and two-product comparison. This page is the QuickBooks taxonomy only.

We did not invent Desktop object maps for CrewNest or PowerWashOffice. We did not treat QuoteIQ’s two-way Pro-page blurb as help. We did not confirm Opervo QBO as live. We did not publish a Workiz monthly total. We did not add pool-route vendors. We did not create new vendor collection files for PowerWashOffice or The Customer Factor.

PressureWashStack does not earn commissions or affiliate revenue. Links in this guide are ordinary vendor URLs, not tracking links. See the affiliate disclosure. Other directory listings stay on the directory.
