Comparison

MakeWash vs Workiz

MakeWash is pressure-washing-only software free to use today with a published future paid floor of $49/mo per business (parent Houseler rate, one month notice), claiming per-sqft estimating and soft-wash chemistry tracking but not satellite measure, QBO, named route optimization, or a payment fee card. Workiz publishes Standard/Pro/Ultimate with Request pricing (no public monthly floor), Genius add-ons sold separately, QuickBooks Online and Desktop, ACH at 1%, and instant card payouts at 1.75% (+$0.50 min). Live figures as of 2026-09-18. No winner. Depends on free-today PW-only chem and per-sqft versus Request-pricing horizontal FSM / Desktop QBO / Genius surface.

Updated 2026-09-18. No ranked winner.

MakeWash is pressure-washing-only software published as free today with a future $49/month per-business floor. Workiz is a horizontal FSM with Request pricing and a pressure-washing industry page. Those units are not interchangeable, so this page does not name a winner. Figures are from vendor pages checked 2026-09-18. We have not tested either app.

Two products

This is a wash-native launch product with a published $0 bill and a stated later $49 floor versus a horizontal home-service FSM with a dedicated pressure-washing page and Request pricing. A PW URL is not a wash-native spec sheet. The products do not sell the same units.

See the MakeWash and Workiz profiles for documented functions, still without a field test. This page is a two-product comparison only.

How you pay

MakeWash publishes $0 today and a later per-business floor. Workiz sells named plans with Request pricing and no public monthly dollar. You cannot subtract a quote from a published launch sticker and get a breakeven.

On 2026-09-18, MakeWash /software still showed Free today · $49/mo when paid, while Workiz /pricing-plans still showed Standard / Pro / Ultimate with Request pricing.

Seat dollars are a GAP. Included-user counts and extra-seat dollars are not published. Genius Phone, Genius Answering, and Genius Marketing are sold separately with no published dollar. The annual discount is described only as “save $400+.” Confirm add-ons and users in a written quote.

Worked examples (published units only)

These rows use only published subscription units. They are arithmetic framing, not a field test and not a winner.

A. MakeWash $0 today versus Workiz Request pricing. MakeWash’s $0 bill is a launch floor with no published estimate or satellite cap on the fetched pages. Workiz Standard / Pro / Ultimate cards print Request pricing and no public monthly dollar. A $0 launch sticker is not the same stack as a card with pricing on request. Do not invent a Workiz monthly floor.

B. MakeWash future $49 versus Workiz Request pricing. MakeWash’s stated later floor is $49/month per business, with no annual SKU. Workiz still prints Request pricing. A $49 sticker versus a quote is not a like-for-like ops stack: seat rules, satellite, route, QBO, and chem claims differ. Do not invent a breakeven.

C. Workiz seat GAP versus MakeWash unpaid seat GAP. Workiz included seats and extra-user dollars stay unpublished. MakeWash does not publish paid multi-seat rules. Do not invent a Workiz seat total. Do not invent a MakeWash multi-seat paid total. Do not invent a seat-to-seat breakeven.

Feature comparison

Satellite takeoff, chemistry, routing, books, payments, seats, and trial friction sit on different published units. Do not treat a row on one card as a row on the other.

QuickBooks Online

Direction, objects, unpaid invoices, and Desktop stay on the QuickBooks guide. This page locks the published gates.

Trials and $0 language

Those offers are not interchangeable. A launch $0 product with a stated later $49 floor is not a no-card 7-day preview.

Who each fits

These are fit notes against published units and documented claims. They are not awards. Who each fits depends on free-today PW-only chem and per-sqft versus Request-pricing horizontal FSM / Desktop QBO / Genius surface.

This page does not rank a winner. Quote MakeWash at the published $0 / $49 units and quote Workiz in writing, then compare the written totals. MakeWash versus Jobber stays on MakeWash vs Jobber.
