QuoteIQ sells named plans with wash-adjacent tools gated above a $29.99 Essentials floor. Housecall Pro is a horizontal FSM with a pressure-washing industry page and Basic at $59/$79. Those are not two equal wash CRMs, so this page does not name a winner. Figures are from vendor pages checked 2026-09-10. We have not tested either app.

## Two products

This is a PW and soft-wash-heavy CRM with aggressive plan gates versus a horizontal field-service platform that publishes a pressure-washing industry page. A PW URL is not a wash-native spec sheet. The products do not sell the same units.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ’s [pricing page](https://myquoteiq.com/pricing/) and [2026 help article](https://intercom.help/quoteiq/en/articles/16152075-quoteiq-pricing-plans-2026) (retrieved 2026-09-10) market an all-in-one home-service CRM with estimates, invoices, scheduling, online payments, and IQ credits. They do not publish a pressure-washing-only spec sheet on those URLs. Prefer that matrix and help for feature gates.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro’s [pressure washing software page](https://www.housecallpro.com/industries/pressure-washing-software/) (retrieved 2026-09-10) markets scheduling, estimates, invoicing, a CRM and customer portal, a price book, online booking, cards/ACH/wallets, and a mobile app. Soft-wash chemistry and satellite square-footage takeoffs are **NOT CLAIMED**. Inventory language on that page is generic “track parts,” not sodium hypochlorite or surfactant mix tools. Treat the PW page as **thin**.

See the [QuoteIQ](/vendors/quoteiq) and [Housecall Pro](/vendors/housecall-pro) profiles for documented functions, still without a field test. This page is a two-product comparison only.

Context only, not a third column: [Opervo](/vendors/opervo) Solo publishes $24.99/month (Team $54.99/month). [CrewNest](/vendors/crewnest) Pro publishes $29/month or $290/year. Those cheaper PW-native floors stay on [QuoteIQ vs Opervo](/compare/quoteiq-vs-opervo) and the [solo operator guide](/guides/best-pressure-washing-software-solo-operators).

## How you pay

QuoteIQ sells flat named plans with a fixed user count and a feature gate on each tier. Housecall Pro sells named plans with a fixed included-user count and extra-user add-ons on Essentials and MAX. You cannot subtract one published dollar from the other and get a breakeven.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ pricing and the 2026 help article, 2026-09-10. No dollar drift versus the locked floors.

| Plan | Users included | Monthly | Yearly (as published) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Essentials | 1 | $29.99 | $299.99/year |
| Beginner | 2 | $74.99 | $749.99/year |
| Pro | 4 | $149.99 | $1,499.99/year |
| Elite | 10 | $299 | $2,990/year |
| Max | Unlimited | $699 | $6,990/year |

The 1-user floor is Essentials at $29.99/month or $299.99/year. Yearly cards also show an equivalent monthly figure. Unused IQ credits do not roll over.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro pricing, housecallpro.com/pricing, 2026-09-10. The page still titles From $59/mo. The MAX card still prints extra users at $75/mo. The dollar cards below match the locked floors. Do not reuse older third-party $35/user figures.

| Plan | Users included | Extra users | Annual (per mo) | Monthly |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Basic | 1 | n/a | $59 | $79 |
| Essentials | 5 | $100/mo each | $149 | $189 |
| MAX | 8 | $75/mo each | $299 | $329 |

The 1-user floor is Basic at $59/month billed annually or $79/month monthly.

> Verified fact: On 2026-09-15, live Housecall Pro pricing HTML showed MAX extra users at $35/mo. Essentials on-card overage beyond 5 users was not printed (GAP). The 2026-09-10 table above still shows the prior fetch ($100 Essentials / $75 MAX). Prefer the [Housecall Pro](/vendors/housecall-pro) profile and [Opervo vs Housecall Pro](/compare/opervo-vs-housecall-pro) for the 2026-09-15 MAX $35/mo floor.

> Verified fact: The same 2026-09-10 pricing fetch still listed **job costing** under Basic (“Everything included, plus”). That is unusual versus older secondary reviews. Confirm in a trial before you budget job costing as a Basic-only reason to buy.

> Editorial judgment: A solo washer comparing $29.99 QuoteIQ Essentials to $59/$79 Housecall Pro Basic is comparing two entry floors, not two complete ops stacks. Price the plan that actually lists the feature you need before you call either one cheaper.

## Soft-wash needs and plan gates

A soft-wash week often needs satellite takeoffs, SH / surfactant inventory, per-job chemical costing, routing, and a books connector. Those needs do not sit on both entry floors.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ’s 2026 help article and public pricing matrix (retrieved 2026-09-10) list Standard, Options, Package, and Quick estimates on every plan, including Essentials. MapMeasure Pro (satellite sq ft, linear ft, meters, roof and pitch) starts at Beginner. Job costing and QuickBooks Online start at Pro. Inventory management, route optimization, route density, dispatching, and InstaSchedule start at Elite.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ’s [soft-washing CRM page](https://myquoteiq.com/crm-for-soft-washing) describes satellite measurement, sodium hypochlorite inventory, per-job chemical costing, and route tools in the same breath as “starting at $29.99/month,” and it says features are included on every plan unless noted. The [pressure-washing CRM page](https://myquoteiq.com/industries/pressure-washing-software/) sells MapMeasure Pro and InstaSchedule next to the $29.99 trial line. That copy does not match the public pricing matrix or the 2026 help article.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro Basic lists estimates and invoicing. The MAX card adds a sales proposal tool. The PW page describes flat-rate pricing, digital signatures, and a price book. Soft-wash chemistry and satellite measure are **NOT CLAIMED**.

> Editorial judgment: Trust QuoteIQ’s pricing matrix and 2026 help article for gates. Treat the soft-wash and PW SEO pages as overselling the Essentials floor. If you need satellite takeoffs this month, the published QuoteIQ gate is Beginner, not Essentials. If you need job costing this month, the published QuoteIQ gate is Pro. If you need inventory, routing, or customer self-booking this month, the published QuoteIQ gate is Elite. Housecall Pro’s PW page is a generic estimate workflow, not a wash-native quote desk.

## QuoteIQ (matrix first)

Prefer help and the pricing matrix. Do not price Elite tools from the $29.99 SEO hero.

> Verified fact: Internal job scheduling and Google Calendar sync sit on every QuoteIQ plan. Customer self-booking is InstaSchedule, listed from Elite. Help states InstaSchedule is not on Essentials, Beginner, or Pro.

> Verified fact: MapMeasure Pro, QuoteIQ Cam, and e-signatures are listed from Beginner on the public matrix. Help puts MapMeasure Pro, including roof and pitch, on Beginner and up.

> Verified fact: Job costing, ClientHub / in-app calling and texting, email and text automation, and QuickBooks Online are listed from Pro.

> Verified fact: Inventory tracking, route optimization, route density, dispatching, InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, pipelines, and EmployeeHub / GEO location tracking are listed from Elite.

> Unverified: QuoteIQ offline field use (quotes, photos, invoices, signatures without signal) is a **GAP**. It is not clearly claimed on the pricing page or the 2026 help article we fetched.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ publishes an affiliate program page at [myquoteiq.com/affiliates/](https://myquoteiq.com/affiliates/). That page exists. PressureWashStack does not use it.

## Housecall Pro

This is a horizontal FSM. The PW page is marketing, not a chem or satellite spec.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro pricing lists online booking, invoices and payments, scheduling and dispatch, quotes, and review management on Basic. Essentials adds routes (group and sequence jobs), flat-rate pricing, checklist automations, photo reports, employee GPS tracking, commissions, and a QuickBooks Online row described as importing existing QuickBooks data into Housecall Pro. MAX adds a sales proposal tool, recurring service plans, route optimization, open API, dedicated onboarding, and escalated phone support.

> Verified fact: Routes sit on Essentials. Route optimization (reorder by drive time and live traffic) sits on MAX. Employee GPS tracking sits on Essentials and MAX.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro pricing lists offline viewing on every plan. The [Mobile FAQ](https://help.housecallpro.com/en/articles/4747652-housecall-pro-mobile-faq) (retrieved 2026-09-10) says you can view previously opened job data without signal, and that **editing offline is not supported**.

> Verified fact: Vendor marketing, not independent proof. Housecall Pro pricing and the PW page print 35% average revenue growth and 8+ hours saved per week, with Housecall Pro footnotes. We did not verify those figures.

> Editorial judgment: If your week includes dead-zone streets, Housecall Pro publishes job view-only. QuoteIQ does not publish an offline list. That is not a field test of either app, and it is not full offline quoting.

## Payments

Do not treat either vendor’s card math as a single settled rate. Confirm on a real invoice.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ processes customer payments through Stripe. The [payments help article](https://intercom.help/quoteiq/en/articles/11182587-how-to-set-up-and-collect-payments) (retrieved 2026-09-10) states Stripe charges standard processing fees and that QuoteIQ does not add any additional fees on top of Stripe’s rates.

> Verified fact: FLAG CONFLICT. QuoteIQ’s [pressure-washing CRM page](https://myquoteiq.com/industries/pressure-washing-software/) prints “Stripe fees: 2.9% + $0.30 + 1% platform fee per transaction.” The [Payments Terms of Service](https://myquoteiq.com/quoteiq-payments-terms-of-service/) mention processing fees and platform fees without reprinting that percent. Those QuoteIQ-owned pages do not match the help-center “no additional fees” line. This page labels both. It does not pick a side.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro pricing and FAQ list card processing **as low as 2.59%** and bank payments at **1%**. Invoices and payments sit on Basic.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro’s [payment processing help](https://help.housecallpro.com/en/articles/2046930-housecall-pro-payment-processing-options) (retrieved 2026-09-10) publishes a rate card: reader / Tap to Pay **2.59%**; online invoice cards **2.99%**; manual, card-on-file, Amex, and commercial cards **3.49%**; ACH **1%**; Instapay **+1%**; PayPal / Venmo **2.99%**; Klarna / Pay Later **4.99%**; Tap to Pay **+$5 per active device per month**.

## QuickBooks

Direction, objects, unpaid invoices, and Desktop stay on the [QuickBooks guide](/guides/best-pressure-washing-software-with-quickbooks). This page locks the published gates.

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ lists QuickBooks Online integration from Pro. The [integration help](https://intercom.help/quoteiq/en/articles/14442991-quickbooks-integration-sync-invoices-amp-payments-automatically) (retrieved 2026-09-10) states it syncs with QuickBooks Online, is not on Essentials or Beginner, and is **not currently supported on QuickBooks Desktop**.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro help states you must be on Essentials or MAX to connect QuickBooks Online. Sync help typically describes a one-way Housecall Pro to QuickBooks Online push. The Essentials pricing card uses import language (“Import your existing QuickBooks data into Housecall Pro”). That import is not the same as ongoing two-way invoice sync.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro publishes QuickBooks Desktop help (Web Connector; one-way Housecall Pro to Desktop after connect). The public pricing grid does not state a Desktop plan gate as clearly as the QBO Essentials row. That gap is unlabeled on the pricing cards. Confirm Desktop eligibility in help or a trial.

> Editorial judgment: If Desktop is your books, Housecall Pro is the product with a documented Desktop path. QuoteIQ help says Desktop is not supported. If you need QBO this month, do not budget QuoteIQ Essentials or Beginner, and do not budget Housecall Pro Basic. The published gates are Pro and Essentials.

## Trials

> Verified fact: QuoteIQ’s 2026 help article states a 14-day trial on the chosen plan, one trial per account, credit or debit card required, and 250 IQ credits on every trial tier (not the paid monthly allotment). Changing plans during the trial, upgrade or downgrade, ends the trial and bills the card immediately for the new plan.

> Verified fact: Housecall Pro’s pricing FAQ states a 14-day trial on the MAX feature set, no credit card. Data is kept if the trial expires.

Those offers are not interchangeable refund guarantees. A card-required trial with a 250-credit meter is not the same as a no-card MAX preview.

## Who each product is for

These are fit notes against published units and documented claims. They are not awards.

**QuoteIQ** is for a shop that wants a published sub-$30 Essentials floor, accepts an IQ-credit meter, and can move to Beginner, Pro, or Elite when MapMeasure, QuickBooks, inventory, routing, or InstaSchedule appear on the matrix. Options Estimates are documented on every plan. Soft-wash chemistry and SH inventory are not documented on Essentials. Offline field use is a **GAP**.

**Housecall Pro** is for a shop that sells wash work as one line among other home-service trades, can enter on Basic at $59/$79, and can pay Essentials for Routes, GPS, and the listed QBO row, or MAX for route optimization. Offline viewing of previously opened jobs is documented. Editing offline is not. Soft-wash chemistry and satellite measure are **NOT CLAIMED** on the PW page. Job costing is listed on the Basic card on this fetch; confirm in a trial.

This page does not rank a winner. Quote both at the plan that lists the feature you need, then compare the written totals. QuoteIQ versus Jobber units stay on [QuoteIQ vs Jobber](/compare/quoteiq-vs-jobber). QuoteIQ versus Opervo stays on [QuoteIQ vs Opervo](/compare/quoteiq-vs-opervo). Housecall Pro versus Jobber stays on [Housecall Pro vs Jobber](/compare/housecall-pro-vs-jobber). CrewNest versus Housecall Pro stays on [CrewNest vs Housecall Pro](/compare/crewnest-vs-housecall-pro). A 2-to-5 tech soft-wash crew bill stays on [Best soft-wash CRM for a small team](/guides/best-soft-wash-crm-for-small-team). ## What we did not do

We have not run these products on a live wash route. We are not recommending a single product. We are not publishing star ratings.

We did not redo the [solo operator guide](/guides/best-pressure-washing-software-solo-operators), the [free software guide](/guides/free-pressure-washing-software), [QuoteIQ vs Jobber](/compare/quoteiq-vs-jobber), [QuoteIQ vs Opervo](/compare/quoteiq-vs-opervo), [Housecall Pro vs Jobber](/compare/housecall-pro-vs-jobber), or the [QuickBooks guide](/guides/best-pressure-washing-software-with-quickbooks). Those pages stay the workflow, $0 taxonomy, other two-product bake-offs, and QuickBooks taxonomy. This page is the QuoteIQ versus Housecall Pro bake-off only.

We did not treat Housecall Pro’s PW industry page as a satellite or SH-chem spec. We did not treat QuoteIQ’s soft-wash SEO page as the plan matrix. We did not import QuoteIQ competitor “true monthly cost” tables as our facts. We did not invent a Housecall Pro add-on stack. We did not invent a breakeven. We did not pick a side on the QuoteIQ Stripe fee conflict. We did not reuse older third-party $35/user Housecall Pro figures. We did not invent a QuoteIQ offline mode. We did not treat vendor hours-saved or revenue-growth stats as independent proof. We did not wire affiliate CTAs or tracking URLs.

PressureWashStack does not earn commissions or affiliate revenue. Links on this page are ordinary vendor URLs, not tracking links. See the [affiliate disclosure](/affiliate-disclosure). Other directory listings stay on the [directory](/directory).
